Initial Sketches
A poster series, paying tribute to three social movements whose contributions echoed around the world.
During this phase, a wide breadth of concept was generated, keeping in mind the ability to create a distinct system between the 3 posters.
Concept Iterations
Settling on a few different directions and beginning to take them further along.
The challenges presented were to make a design system that could easily be extrapolated and used as a cohesive format.
Conceptually, I originally pursued a primarily greyscale schema, with hints of colour in the call-outs to the other posters.
Final Poster Series
The final objective I wanted to capture was its ability to stand as its own individual piece, while also still working as a series — viewing it should offer the best experience, regardless if it’s alone or together.
